Kronos® iSeries Central Suite

AS/400-based replacement system on

LANpoint TIME or LANpoint 7 Time and Attendance  Terminals

We have timeclock replacements for Kronos timeclocks.

We also have a partner with a replacement application similar to the Kronos iSeries Central Suite software.  This could be an opportunity to implement an IBM AS/400 iSeries system without the ongoing burdensome support costs that seemed unavoidable up until now.

Ask about our Kronos TimeClock trade-in policy!

Our network of application partners are ready to help out.  Some specialize in AS/400 and iSystem applications in the gaming industry.  We have partners that will even support the existing application at a very reasonable cost while smoothly transitioning to a superior system on the same iSeries platform.

For instance, one of our partners specializes in AS/400 based labor management systems very similar to iSeries Central Suite.  This partner offers a proven system that does not require the IBM Interactive Upgrade.  It is installed on the IBM System i5 Family (AS/400). The solution provides a TCP/IP Sockets Communications Server that is customized to provide secure Time & Attendance Data Collection. Each terminal transaction is automatically processed and authenticated by the IBM iSeries Centralized Server. The communications server handles multiple simultaneous transactions from any number of terminals. Because the server is not polling the terminals, the impact on system utilization is minimal. The Communications Server automatically starts when you start your IBM System i5 (AS/400) and provides advanced system management function such as error messaging via system operator, SMTP email, and SNMP network management protocol. Communications Modules provide detailed diagnostic logging, automatic restart, and open systems TCP/IP interfaces.

Maybe you just want to reduce your labor management system costs and install more economical and less restricting open-architectured systems.

Well, you do have a choice.  Look at some of the similar Intelligent Instrumentation terminals designed and built with true open-systems operating systems.  We've designed and manufactured these terminals in Tucson, Arizona - some many years ago - and they're still available.  We believe in supporting our customers over the long haul.  For instance, the LANpoint PRO was first released in 1996 and we have been building it in the U.S. ever since that time.  We have no plans of obsoleting it.  Our policy of producing quality, open architecture data collection terminals that remain available for a decade or more means that you will not be left high and dry.  We protect your investment.

All LANpoint timeclocks are built around open architecture standards so you can take advantage of new technology as it comes along.

Lanpoint uses standard connectors, standard operating systems, standard networking, and provides support for many types of 3rd party bar code input scanners and other AutoID devices. In addition, all LANpoint timeclocks have no moving parts to wear out and break.

And since Intelligent Instrumentation designs and manufactures its own data collection terminals, you can be sure of the most accurate and timely support through out the lifetime of the terminal.
